The SpeakerCollective Speaker Terms
1.Content License
By submitting a session, you grant The SpeakerCollective and SpeakerRealm a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, distribute, edit, and promote your session recording and its derivatives across their properties — including the summit premiere, YouTube, podcast platforms, social media clips, and directory profiles.
You retain full ownership of your material and remain free to use, license, or republish it anywhere else. Content is hosted on an ongoing basis at The SpeakerCollective's discretion, and may be reorganised, re-edited, or retired as the catalogue evolves.
2.Name & Likeness
You permit use of your name, headshot, biography, brand name, and excerpts of your session in summit promotion and marketing across email, web, social, and partner channels. This permission covers promotion of the event you appear in and of the catalogue in which your session lives.
3.Speaker IP Warranty & Responsibility
You warrant that you own or hold valid rights to every element in your session — including music, slides, images, video, data, and quoted material — and that your content does not infringe any third party's rights or breach any confidentiality obligation.
You are responsible for any claim arising from your content. Sessions containing unlicensed third-party material may be returned for revision or removed.
4.Participation Requirements
Accepted speakers agree to:
- Promote the summit to their own audience using their personalized tracking link.
- Pay the $97 commitment deposit, which converts on the ladder below: 15+ registrants earns 1 month of Directory Membership; 25+ earns 3 months plus a daily-email highlight; 40+ earns a second highlight and priority premiere placement.
- Upload a finished 25–30 minute recording by the stated deadline (August 21 for Summit #1).
- Accept one quality-control revision window if production flags an issue with audio, video, or content standards.
- Attend their premiere live in chat to answer audience questions.
5.Content Standards
Sessions are value-first. There is no selling from stage: no offers, no pricing, no discovery-call pitch inside the session. You may close with a single free gift call-to-action, and your speaker page carries your links.
Links and offers shown on screen or in the session description are pre-approved by the producer. The SpeakerCollective may decline, edit, or remove content that conflicts with these standards.
6.Deposit Terms
The commitment deposit is $97, invoiced after acceptance. It converts to Directory Membership credit based on your verified registrant count: 15–24 registrants converts to 1 month; 25–39 converts to 3 months; 40+ converts to 3 months plus additional promotional placement. Below 15 registrants, the deposit is retained as an event production fee. The deposit is not a speaking fee and is not otherwise refundable once production has begun.
7.Communications & Privacy
We email you about your application, your production timeline, and the event. Your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell your information.
8.Updates to These Terms
These terms may be updated for future events. Each version is dated, and the version you accepted at application time is the version that governs your participation in that event.
